7 Jan to 18 February - Plymouth Museum - Camden Town: Exploring Themes - Another chance to see our fine art exhibition, featuring works by a group of young progressive British artists from the early 1900s.
14 January to 14 April - Plymouth Museum - From Plymouth to Pole: Scott, Science and the Men who Sailed South - Rediscover the story of Scott of the Antarctic in this new exhibition that looks at his local and naval associations, expeditions and crew.
21 January to 21 April - Forms Most Beautiful- Plymouth Museum -See large-scale images of microscopic marine life as well as specimens from our natural history collections in this new exhibition produced in partnership with Plymouth University.
28 - Hazelwood House - Winter Gourmet Dinner - Enjoy a delicious 5 course menu prepared using the best in local ingredients. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Sparkling Kir and canapes, followed by dinner. Details

February Feb 1st - Plymouth Museum - Plymouth Porcelain: A New Collection - A new commission by well-known ceramic artist, Clare Twomey inspired by our Plymouth Porcelain collection.
4 - Plymouth City Museum - Contemporary craft workshops: Book ends Make magical mono prints inspired by the Museum’s 'Forms Most Beautiful' exhibition. Collate your prints into a unique book using the Japanese stab binding technique to use as a journal, poetry book or whatever you decide!
7 - Plymouth Pavillions - Katherine Jenkins - The UK premier female opera singer has managed to bridge the between opera fans and pop fans with the release of her hugely successful albums which have made her the fastest selling UK Classical artist of all time.
7- Plymouth City Museum Lunchtime talks: The Squire of Gadshill: From the worst of times to the best of times
Enjoy a presentation by popular Charles Dickens re-enactor, Lloyd Lee as we mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of this great British author.

March 1-2 - Photo Walk - Explore the spectacular surrounds of Dartmouth Castle and have fun with your camera, capturing some of the magic of the landscape and the stunning architecture.
3 - Plymouth Museum - Women in Art -See an impressive selection of work from our permanent art collections that portray or were created by women.

4 -The marine side of Malborough - South Devon AONB. From the historic village of Malborough follow a circular route on lanes & paths to Bolt Head. 17 - Slapton's wartime story - Find out more about the evacuation of the Slapton area and Exercise Tiger on this walk around Torcross & nearby coastline. 20- Plymouth City Museum Lunchtime talks: The wonders of Britain's undersea habitats Plymouth-based marine biologist, Paul Naylor will use his underwater photographs to show you some of these habitats and the fascinating animals that live in them. Tuesday 20 March 2012
