Art galleries and museums with activities and exhibitions throughout the year. Enjoy the historic, social and cultural heritage of South Devon and browse the arts and crafts displays by local artists and sculptors.

	Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery - nine permanent galleries where you can view thousands of objects and artworks from our world cultures, Ancient Egypt, archaeology, maritime and local history, natural history, fine art and decorative art collections. Museum opening times: Tuesday to Friday - 10am to 5.30pm, Saturday and Bank Holiday Mondays - 10am to 5pm. Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery
	Art Cafe - Kingsbridge - Come and paint your own pottery, or simply sit back and relax with a cup of tea or delicious coffee and home made cake. Fun and creativity for all ages. You will find us in Kingsbridge, in the beautiful South Hams, Devon. http://www.theartcafe.biz
	Dartington Cider Press Centre - A beautiful, inspiring place and we welcome over one million visitors to the estate every year. Whilst you’re here, explore our beautiful grounds and gardens, have a coffee in the Roundhouse Café, catch a film in the Barn Cinema or have lunch and a drink at the White Hart pub. Drop into the Shops at Dartington, the boutique shops at the Cider Press Centre in Dartington Village
	Cookworthy Museum - Kingsbridge - Inside the Old Grammar School and discover the story of Kingsbridge and the South Hams. In the nine galleries you will find both permanent displays and special exhibitions showing how the people of the area have lived, worked and played over many generations.
	Reel Cinema Kingsbridge - A truly independent family run cinema. Dolby stereo sound. All screens are fitted with hearing loop systems. Our three screens, the Premier,the Classic and the Paradiso provide traditional cinema. http://www.thereelcinema.co.uk
	Salcombe Maritime and Local History Museum- Established in 1975. Temporary exhibitions were arranged each summer mainly with items which were loaned. Since 1991 the museum has occupied the ground floor of the former council offices and the collections have expanded to fill the two rooms completely.
